The end of the swim season has arrived and once again, Skyline had a very successful swim season! It was a summer of best personal times for many swimmers. Skyline showed its depth and won the Metro League Relay Meet. The team placed second at the Metro League Championship Meet. With a very small team of available swimmers for State, the coaches were happy with a 6th place finish from a field of 50 very competitive teams at the State Summer Club Championships. Skyline is very fortunate and appreciative of Cindy O'Neil for her incredible leadership. A Big Thanks to all our outstanding coaching staff – Cindy O’Neil, Scott Alverson, Lauren Houghton, D-Ray, Christa Poremba, and Jessica Dawkins. The swim team said “Goodbye” to three 18 year old swimmers who have been a big part of the swim team most of their lives -- they have swum together for 13 years --
Charlie Mann, Nick Shearon, and Troy Wiese

Late summer 2010
Skyline Members, Another great summer at Skyline is in full swing. Most Swim and Tennis programs are coming to an end, but we still have several weeks to enjoy our club. It’s a great time of year to enjoy Skyline as many people go on vacation and leave the club for the rest of us.
Guests at Skyline Over the past several years, Skyline guest procedures have become a bit hazy. Please meet your guests at the gatehouse and pay their fees. No guest should be able to enter Skyline without your presence. We’ve had numerous members allow their guests to enter without paying. Members haven’t been able to enjoy the tennis courts due to non-paying guests. Swimming facilities on busy days and nights are pinched for space due to non-paying guests. These fees help us pay for new chairs and tables as well as many other needed facility items, so please adhere to the guest procedure.
Open Board Positions As the board president, I would like to make you aware of the few board positions opening up this fall. Our current board is made up of a very diverse group of skills and backgrounds. We welcome your talents to enhance our board and to move Skyline into the future. Please contact me at 303-601-3267.
Enjoy your summer at Skyline. John Thompson
